SPERRY, Okla. (AP) — The police head of a little upper east Oklahoma people group says he issued himself a reference for speeding, however simply in the wake of being gotten on video.

Sperry Police Chief Justin Burch posted a conciliatory sentiment on the office’s Facebook page Saturday, saying he was “wrong in going at 75 and 80 mph.” Sperry is around 10 miles north of Tulsa.
